This magnificent sculpture was inspired by natures perfect geometric wonders.

At 1.90m height and with over 50 hand cut, ground and solderered stained glass hexagons held inside a seasoned ironbark frame, captures light from all directions and weighs in at a stable 60kg.

To add to its unique and rustic design, this piece also features a beautiful hand turned mix of eucalyptus and ironbark wooden bee with a delightful touch of shimmer on its iridescent glass wings that gives the illusion of movement as the light reflects during different times of the day.

The base is a heavy duty fabrication using mild steel that not only sturdily supports the sculpture, but is an integral piece of the design.
